I just had a home inspection with Chuck, and he was great. He was very thorough and explained everything clearly as he went through the house. He answered all my questions, pointed out things I wouldn't have noticed, and even offered to look up additional info afterward. He made the process easy to understand and much less stressful. I'd definitely recommend Chuck to anyone buying a home.

Chuck is great to work with. He's inspected two houses my husband and I have offered on and his report saved us from investing in a home with serious water problems in the basement, and helped us feel reassured about the second home we offered on. He's also taught me a lot, and as a new homeowner, that's especially valuable! Thanks Chuck!

Chuck is amazing! First time meeting him and it felt like you knew him forever! Replied quickly and was able to get me within short notice. Did a septic inspection for me and was very knowledgeable within the field. Would highly recommend him to anyone doing a home/septic inspection.

Chuck was amazing. Meeting him for the first time he demonstrated a great deal of knowledge with home inspections. He explained what he was looking at. What was problematic and of no concern. He took his time and was very thorough. He answered all the questions we had and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole inspection.

As first-time home buyers, we really appreciated how thorough Chuck was with our inspection. He explained everything in detail, answered all of our questions, and made the process easy to understand. He even got us scheduled the very next day after we called. Highly recommend Above Grade Home Inspections!

Town of Warwick law says an unused well must be sealed to state standards, so an old well left open becomes the new owner's to seal. Walk the yard and look for an old well cap or casing.

In the Town of Warwick, a new or replacement well needs a Building Department permit. A Well Completion Report showing the well's depth, output, and location is filed there. Ask the seller for the well's completion report.
Pine Island's small water system runs on two wells off Kay Road. In 2025 it went over the state limits for chloride and iron. Learn whether the house is on the Pine Island system before you buy.
Town of Warwick basements ran higher: in the state's 2007 survey, now more than ten years old, about 45% tested above 4 pCi/L, the EPA's action level, against 34% across Orange County. Ask whether the house had a radon test before its last sale.
The Village of Florida's water comes from Glenmere Lake, and it broke the state limit for HAA5, a chlorine by-product, in all four quarters of 2024. Find out whether the house draws Glenmere Lake water.
