I just had a home inspection with Chuck, and he was great. He was very thorough and explained everything clearly as he went through the house. He answered all my questions, pointed out things I wouldn't have noticed, and even offered to look up additional info afterward. He made the process easy to understand and much less stressful. I'd definitely recommend Chuck to anyone buying a home.

Chuck is great to work with. He's inspected two houses my husband and I have offered on and his report saved us from investing in a home with serious water problems in the basement, and helped us feel reassured about the second home we offered on. He's also taught me a lot, and as a new homeowner, that's especially valuable! Thanks Chuck!

Chuck is amazing! First time meeting him and it felt like you knew him forever! Replied quickly and was able to get me within short notice. Did a septic inspection for me and was very knowledgeable within the field. Would highly recommend him to anyone doing a home/septic inspection.

Chuck was amazing. Meeting him for the first time he demonstrated a great deal of knowledge with home inspections. He explained what he was looking at. What was problematic and of no concern. He took his time and was very thorough. He answered all the questions we had and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole inspection.

As first-time home buyers, we really appreciated how thorough Chuck was with our inspection. He explained everything in detail, answered all of our questions, and made the process easy to understand. He even got us scheduled the very next day after we called. Highly recommend Above Grade Home Inspections!

Mostly not: the Town of Wallkill's public water comes from groundwater well fields, while the city draws from its own reservoirs. City water does reach parts of the Town of Wallkill and Wawayanda. Ask the seller which water bill the house gets.
A home sale in the city needs a final water and sewer meter reading, requested at least 7 days before closing. Unpaid water and sewer bills are added to the property tax bill. Confirm the bills are paid at closing.
The Town of Wallkill's water system went over the state limit for disinfection by-products called TTHMs in 2018. Read the town's newest report to see where that stands.
Plumbing work in the city must be done by a plumber the city itself licenses, and electrical work by a city-licensed electrician, with some exceptions. Ask any plumber you call whether they hold the city license.
