About Us
A Veteran-Owned Home Inspection Company
We are licensed by New York State and insured. Our trade certifications cover chimneys, exteriors, moisture intrusion, plumbing, pools and spas, wells, wood-destroying organisms such as termites, and infrared thermal imaging. Every home inspection, on a single-family home, a condo, or a fourplex, follows the InterNACHI Standards of Practice, a published list of what an inspection must cover. Every report explains what we found in plain terms.
Our Story
Beyond the Clipboard
We have been inspecting Hudson Valley homes since 1998. A clipboard and a checklist can only show so much. We back that experience with current tools, including thermal imaging and drone views of the roof, so you see more of the house than a walkthrough shows. We are veteran owned and operated.

What Our Clients Say About Their Inspections
Mirtha Martinez
I just had a home inspection with Chuck, and he was great. He was very thorough and explained everything clearly as he went through the house. He answered all my questions, pointed out things I wouldn't have noticed, and even offered to look up additional info afterward. He made the process easy to understand and much less stressful. I'd definitely recommend Chuck to anyone buying a home.

Chuck is great to work with. He's inspected two houses my husband and I have offered on and his report saved us from investing in a home with serious water problems in the basement, and helped us feel reassured about the second home we offered on. He's also taught me a lot, and as a new homeowner, that's especially valuable! Thanks Chuck!

Chuck is amazing! First time meeting him and it felt like you knew him forever! Replied quickly and was able to get me within short notice. Did a septic inspection for me and was very knowledgeable within the field. Would highly recommend him to anyone doing a home/septic inspection.

He took his time and was very thorough. He answered all the questions we had and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole inspection.

As first-time home buyers, we really appreciated how thorough Chuck was with our inspection. He explained everything in detail, answered all of our questions, and made the process easy to understand. He even got us scheduled the very next day after we called. Highly recommend Above Grade Home Inspections!
